Executive Director

Paola Cortes

Paola started in the early learning childhood education field in 2017. She did her ECE diploma at CDI college but she was already working with children even before doing my diploma. She has been passionate about childcare from a very young age and she has always known she wanted to work with children. She started working at SPICE’d Dayhome Agency in May 2022 as a Dayhome consultant which allowed her to see the administrative side of childcare. She enjoys working in the administrative side of the ECE field and looks forward to continuing doing it.

Agency Consultant (Calgary)

Chika Ofoegbu-Yusuf

Chika is a fun-loving Childcare Educator, wife, and mom with over a decade of experience bringing joy and creativity to children's lives. As the former owner of Curious Sprouts Dayhome in Calgary, Alberta, she crafted magical learning experiences for kids. Chika is a devoted wife and mom of two energetic daughters, and she's passionate about encouraging others to reach their full potential. With certifications in Early Learning and Childcare, she combines her expertise with a creative streak to make every day special. When not working, Chika enjoys reading, singing, movies, and hair-related pursuits, spreading positivity wherever she goes.

On Call Agency Consultant (Calgary)

Grace Adefidipe

Grace has a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from the University of Calgary and a Masters in Public Health from the University of Waterloo. She enjoys creating safe and nurturing environments for children to learn, grow and have fun. Grace has a level 3 Alberta Childcare Certificate.

Consultant

Rukkaiya

Rukkaiya Lnu brings over 12 years of experience in Education and holds a Level 3 Early Childhood Education Certification, a Bachelor of Education degree, and an MBA in Human Resources. She has also completed multiple certification courses in young mind development, strengthening her expertise in supporting children’s growth and learning. She is passionate about nurturing young minds and creating supportive, engaging, and inclusive learning environments where children feel confident, curious, and inspired to explore. Rukkaiya believes that strong, caring relationships are the foundation for children to thrive both academically and personally. Outside of her professional work, Rukkaiya enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband and two children. She also enjoys reading, writing, and music, which contribute to her well-rounded approach to education and life.

Stephanie Eke

Stephanie has over 10 years of experience in early learning and child care and holds a Master’s Degree in Gerontology along with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. Her studies and professional journey have strengthened her belief that caring relationships and supportive environments allow people to thrive — at every stage of life. As a Childcare Consultant, Stephanie loves working with educators to create warm, inclusive, and engaging spaces where children feel safe, curious, and confident. When she’s not visiting day homes, you’ll often find Stephanie taking long walks or binge-watching TV series with her family, enjoying plenty of laughter and quality time together.

Harman Bhullar

Harman is a valued member of the team. She holds a Diploma in Early Learning and Child Care and has over 7 years of experience in the childcare field, giving her a strong foundation in understanding the needs of children, families, and educators. Her passion for supporting the early learning community now shines through in her role as Agency Coordinator, where she creates engaging content for social media and helps plan meaningful events that bring people together. Creative and detail-oriented, Harman loves expressing her artistic side through crafts, design, and visual storytelling. Her enthusiasm, creativity, and thoughtful approach help foster connection, celebration, and community within the agency.
