Sumridhi moved from India to Edmonton in 2012. She did her Bachelor’s in Arts and nursery teachers training course in India and previously worked in a school with toddlers. She got her level 1 childcare certificate and started working in a daycare. Sumrdhi previously worked in daycare for three years. Afterwards, she decided to run her own day home because she loves working with children and spending time with them. She has been running her day home for the last six years. Her dayhome uses the emergent curriculum program in which activities are planned according to the children’s interests. Sumridhi has completed her level 2 from CDI College and is now pursuing her level 3 Alberta Childcare Certificate. In her spare time, Sumridhi enjoys Baking, reading, and traveling. She can speak Hindi, English, and Punjabi and is a mom of two boys ages 6 and 12.
